Salon owners.. On average -, % of turnover on advertising??

Hi all you salon owners

just wondering ..........
What % of you annual turnover do you spend on advertising ?
only freeadvertising
10%
more than 10%

I suppose this should be a poll but I dont know how to creat one

I am a city centre salon with 2 staff (self included) - we are open 1 year in April and to date Ive been going with 10% -
Yellow pages
annual city shopping guide for tourists and all hotels
Wedding Fare

so far so good but........
am I mad?
would love someone elses 2 cents

2 - 4% for me. Large salon with 9 staff. No local advertising anymore, didn't find it beneficial at all. Use Yell, YP and internet.
