Santitiser or Steriliser

Hi,

Can anyone let me know what they use to sanitise and sterilise their equipment? I want to offering a mobile service but where do u clean and steralise?

Do you know any goods sterilisers?

Mundo do a great range of sanitisers, file sprays, hand cleanser and sterilisers, carry some soapy water in a spray container and pads in your kit so that you can wash the equipment and an airtight tub with some mundo in so that you can sterilize your equipment between clients. xx:hug:

As a nail tech you don't need to steilise your equipment, disinfection is more than adequate. Our tools are not exposed to bodily fluids and we're not doing anything invasive so there is no need to sterilise...... The Mundo Hard Surface wipes are a godsend for us mobiles!

I use a germicide for some things and alcohol for others. PErsonal use items go in client kits.

Thanks Yvette, I was told at my training course I would have to obtain a steriliser for equipment to be cleaned, what happens if you accidently cut someone? Do you just bin your tools or is the mundo enough to clean that? If so that's fab - such a time and expense saver xxxxx

If you cut someone with a fie bin it, if it's with a metal tool a disinfection liquid like the one from Mundo is fine to use. A steriliser is unecessary.

sterilizing is expensive and just not practical. If you have to sterilize an implement you'd need about 4-5 sets of all the implements you use, and the bags and the sterilizer which can cost thousands.
Just get a glass jar with a locking lid or screw on lid so if it tips it will stay closed and add barbacide and toss in your implements. 10 mins and your good to go!
