Ive just been approached to do work experience with a 15 year old next year. Having never done it before, any advice on what to do?

Do I need special insurance at the salon?
She won't be trained so what will she be doing!?
Do the school send you anything to follow?

Any advice gratefully received x

I did my work experience in a hair salon and loved it.
Everyone has to start somewhere and whilst I understand they won’t be cutting/colouring etc there is no reason why they can’t wash hair, make the tea, run errands, tidy and clean, pass up to a stylist (I’m showing my age here as perms were all the rage in the 80’s)!
I can’t help you on the insurance part but fingers crossed you get someone that is passionate and enthusiastic. Good luck [emoji6]

Thanks, I did that too for my hair training but I no longer do hair but do nails, ( gel polish) spray tan & waxing, so unless I start a training night or something I’m not sure I can help? Probably need to contact my insurance anyway before anything else, I just wondered if anyone else had done it in their salon. Thanks again for the reply x
