Self employed income

Hi guys

I've been working for myself for a while now and I make quite a good income (touch wood it continues!)
I just struggle to manage my money though as I don't have a set amount going in each month, I seem to end up spending a lot of it on re ordering products etc.

I just wondered if anyone else would mind sharing how they manage their income for example do you pay yourself a set amount each month or week and do you have a separate account for ordering products?

I have my personal account and a business account. I lodge all my takings to the business account and then pay myself from there each week. All purchases and new training come out of the business account.

Thank you, I think I need to set up another account. How do you work out how much you'll pay yourself?
