semi permanemt eye lash extensions

Hi

Can anyone please tell me an easy way to stick the bottom lashes dwn whilst working on the top lashes. I currently put vaseline on the lower lashes and then cover with tape but it does not stay fast and I keep catching the bottom lashes with glue

when i had my done my therapist used a anti wrinkle eye pad felt really secure. HTH
