Hi guys I would like some advice... I'm looking to become self employed doing nails from home but I live in rented accommodation. Can I register my business to this address or do I need to ask my landlords promission first? I have young children so unfortunatly with my partner working crazy hours I cannot go mobile. If I cannot register it at my home can I register it at my parents who own their house and do nails from my own home?

Any advice if you have been in the same situation will be great thank you xxxxx

I know in the UK you have to ask the landlord for permission and also let your household insurance company know.

check your tenancy agreement it usually states that you cannot run a business from the premises.

I'm not sure your insurance will be valid if you're registered at one address and working from another?

Ok I will do thank you :)
