Hi There,
I’m new to the forum so hoping you can help. I have a lady (base 5) who has bleach tint, I had until now always had to lift twice (with 6%) to get to a clean 9 then toned with goldwell 9BA. She is now looking to have a slight shadow root, my question is if I can lift her to a 7/8 in one application can I then tone the roots with an 8 (ba?)and then blend into the ends which would probably need a little tone with her normal 9BA.
Will the gold/orange roots be toned down? if she decided she wanted all her hair toned down would I be able to use the level 8 toner on her ends aswell giving a natural shadow root as the roots are not lifted as much.
I’ve only ever worked with goldwell colorance so if anyone has any formulas for a 8/9 that removes the brassy/orange but doesn’t leave too cool if be really interested to hear.
