Shallac/Gelish Lamp?

I know this has been asked a million times, but want to be sure!!!
I am In between shellac/Gelish. I am going to choose Gelish but after reading some threads on here it appears I can use the Shellac Lamp for Gelish anyway?
It would make more sense me buying that then I have the option for using Shellac in the future am I correct? Thanks in advance x

Yes, you can use the CND lamp to cure Gelish, so you would need to buy that if you are still going to be using Shellac at times too.
