Shellac on SO Gel Nails

Afternoon! I have a client later having Shellac over Gels, its the first time I've done Shellac over Grls, just wondered if anyone has any tips? Should I use Shellac BC? TIA

You don't need a base coat, when she arrives make sure there is no topcoat etc, so give a buff over and then proceed, as long as they don't need infills it will be fine, if they need infills which I ad once, I buffed down a bit and did use base coat, she wanted to grow the gel out.

She just left. I did the tips and gel then buffed and applied shellac.
