Shellac peeling

Hi iv been doing shellac for a few months and had a client last week who's peeled off in two days. I did the pep steps have all the proper Cnd products and equipment which is all new so it shouldn't be the light bulbs. It hasn't happened to any of my other clients so I'm really confused what could it be?

I'm not Shellac trained yet (Monday) but everything I've read is, condition of clients nails & applying too thick. I had a shellac for holiday & found it didn't last as good as normal but my own nails were peeling & I thought maybe the suntan oil could have had something to do with it?.
