Shellac Rockstar tips?

I've been doing shellac and Gelish with Rockstar for quite some time now and I'm not sure if this question has been asked (can't find it) but when doing the glitter just on the edge of the nails like in a French style what's the best way to do this without getting glitter on the rest of the nail? I've tried wiping the inhibition later after the colour but it always wipes some of the colour away. Any help is appreciated x

I've always applied to glitter tip to the nail (before or after curing the colour, I find no difference either way) then press it in firmly using my fingers then apply top coat. As long as u press it into the colour I don't find the glitter then budges!

I use the side edge of a slanted brush to pick up the glitter and apply it, it gives quite a good line and less chance of glitter floating about to the rest of the nail
