haha just re-read my reply...i will re-phase ..
would be happy to remove shoes to walk to room where i will be cutting hair...but most definately would not cut hair with them off!!

I wouldn't remove my shoes in a client's home. It's funny how they don't mind hair all over their carpet/floor, but not a pair of shoes? Besides, what if i dropped something such as scissors/something heavy and got stabbed in the foot/broken foot?

I think I would either tell all new clients when they booked, before i went to their home, or I'd carry a small pair of indoor shoes with me. If they still didn't allow me to wear those, I'd refuse to cut the hair.

Just my opinion.

I will always wear shoes now as for last week I got hair stuck in my foot and 5 days later it got infected and I had to visit the gp to drain it and I was in agony today has been a pain free day thank god. My foot was huge for 3 days didn't help me carrying on working.
