Skating in hyde park

We thought it would be nice to take the kids to Hyde park to ice skate while we had a wander around the christmas market.
I know you can get tickets but ive heard it will take 400 at a time does anyone know whether we will need pre booked tickets and if not what is the waiting time like bearing in mind it will be tomorrow,Sunday.

My mum wanted to take us to this but I couldnt make it.
As far as I'm aware you can just turn up, but it is cheaper to book online.
