I seem to constantly have a spotty chin, at least three there at a time, they go & come back in new places. Occasionally they are more lumpier, at the moment I have one lump on my chin & one on my jawline. The one on jawline I've had since mas, it's eventually starting to go down now.

I use Simple cleanser, toner & moisturiser in the evening after washing my face with water & flannel.

I am wondering why this is happening, have been advised it's hormonal. Changed pill six months ago & it was better for a bit, but then it started again!

I am wondering what products (if any) I should use to help prevent spots / or help them heal quickly?

ditch the face washing first of all, using a cream cleanser and spend 5 mins massaging into skin remove with water or cotton discs. lose the flannel unless boil washing after each time they harbour and will breed bacteria so each time your putting it near your face your just spreading bacteria.

ensuring you have cleansed throughly enough wipe with toner (if your skin is oily use witch hazel bought from any chemist)

then a moisturiser suitable for your skin type

prob have a facial to properly diagnose your skin type.

by properly diagnosing you can establish your actual problem. more often then not face washers have dehydrated skin which in turn then overproduces oil to compensate. there fore going round in a circle.

the spots sound more likely to be pustules or papules they come up from deeper under the skin
and are from the sebeacous glands that produce oil.

so overall a good thougher cleansing ritual will really deep clean your skin.

hope this helps
ps ive been through exactly what you have so speaking from experience, they blow up and never come to a head then deflate and reappear next month! thus leaving your with scarring. it def is hormonal, if it persists ask doc to do hormonal check could be something underlying that over producing the oil as to why they keep returning.
