Spray tan wont come off around underarms?

Hi everyone

Everytime i use fake tan it comes off everywhere when i exfoliate except around my underarms, its like it really really is stuck on around that area! Iv scrubbed and scrubbed and used an exfoliator gel but nothing works. I need to get it sorted as im having a spray tan on wednesday, any ideas?

hi, try putting plenty of baby oil on the affected area. leave it on for 1hr then have a hot bath. when you come out the bath rub the area whilst applying pressure with a dry towel and you should be able to see the tan just wipe away. dont use any oil for approx 2-3 days before your next spray tan though, hope this is helpful

Oil will definitely breakdown any spray tan. I have also used a "cleanser" with AHA in the past and that worked beautifully as the AHA exfoliates the skin. As the other lady said, don't use the oil too close to your next tan as it will act as a barrier to the spray tan.

Some sound advice given here already.

A spray tan ,with enough exfoliation will eventually come off.

As has already been mentioned if you do use baby oil do make sure you remove any residue oil before a spray tan application

You could google buff wipes..there amazing and will remove any tan

I always get this, sometimes even when i'v just had my tan done. I Must have really dry underarms!! I use exfoliating gloves with just a normal shower gel and that usually does the trick. I use them for gradually taking off my tan aswel.. i love them !!
