SSW - How does vitamin c remain stable??

The question says it all really...

The reason i ask is that some products state they have pure vit c and i would like to know how "stable" it can remain as it is a very volatile vitamin...

I also noticed that Nimue has a vitaminCester ingredient...
What is this??!

Ester basically means it is the absorbable part of the vitamin.

i dont know about nimue itself, but vitamin c is less unstable if it is put in an anhydrous substance/cream. do you have a list of ingrediants for the cream? If it states it is pure vit c then i assume it is not using vit c derivatives but would assume it to be using some sort of stabiliser. Prob no help, soz.
