Sterlizing waxing equipment

Hi,

Can anyone advise on the best way to sterilize waxing equipment. Obviously wooden spatulas get thrown away but how about metel ones with wooden handles? Any other general sterilizing advice aimed at waxers would be great.

I use Perron Rigot solvent. I just put the spatula in a pot of solvent after using it. I usually leave them in the solvent overnight and in the morning they just wipe clean. Then i sterilise as usual in barbicide.
I use the solvent on a wax strip to wipe my pot inbetween clients. :biggrin:

You can use any wax cleaner to first clean the wax from your instruments/equipment then soak in barbicide for ten mins to disinfect or use barbicide wipes.HTH
