Hi all

I passed my acrylic nail exam in April, I learned at night school through community use, (I can hear all the comments already) and while I can complete a really good set of nails I still have a lot to learn. I originally used the Edge system but the acrylic is of poor quality and breaks down/splits and lifts very easily, and through speaking to other nail geeks on here I am not the only one who has had problems with the Edge. The course really didn't cover much if anything on infil/rebalance, I know for a fact I could improve with my placement of zone 3 and this is then causing problems when it comes to my clients coming back for an infill. I am filing down the acrylic (some lifting has happened but not loads) to merge with the natural nail but when I then place my new acrylic in zone three you can still see a faint line of old acrylic underneath. I am saving up to do the CND conversion course as I am a mobile tech and cannot afford it just now so really need advice to overcome this as I had to soak off a clients acrylic the last time as I would not let her go about with nails like that (I am a perfectionist). I then had the client in for 3 hours because of this and feer I could lose her. :(
