Studying hair in the USA?

Hey,
I would be so grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Me and my partner (a young couple in our early 20's) have decided to look into moving to the USA. I'm currently studying hairdressing, I love it! My question is, if I wanted to move to the USA, how would I go about finding a job OR studying hairdressing over there ? We are looking at moving to California and eventually buying house there.

Every state has there own licensure process. You will have to attend cosmotology school and pass a state board exam. Look at community colleges in the area where you plan on moving.

I live in the US and I went to BOCES, they have adult BOCES and like tsparker said you have to take the state test!
