anyone help

hi chick

as someone who is about to finish her BT HND:green: i would say if you enjoyed your hn units then you'll love your course whichever route you choose to take. i too did a couple of units and then left a fulltime job to go to college and I chose to go straight into the HND. my class was a mixture of girls who had progressed from NQ and those who were direct entrants myself included, and although the course does have a number of people who drop out, there is still a mixture of NQ's and direct entrants about to graduate. so either way it's very possible to succeed!

the main thing I would urge you to think about is the overwhelming amount of theory and written/research work involved in the HND. If you feel this is an area where you are strong then it shouldnt be too much of a problem; however if you're not sure then perhaps it would be better to do level 2 or 3 first and build up to the hnd.

The girls from the NQ class have commented many times over the last 2 years on this being the biggest difference between the levels, and even though I've came from an academic background I dont think anything could have prepared me for the sheer volume of study, research, witten work and downright hard slog involved in gaining this qualification.

I'm not trying to put you off  lol, just trying to forewarn you! I've loved doing my HND and really feel a great sense of achievement in seeing it through. It's totally all worth it in the end to be doing a job you love. I'm not far from you either, what college have you applied to?

Whatever you do honey, this site will help you loads and i wish you lots of luck with it.

Peeps  xxx
