Okay, I've finally convinced my husband to consider me having a garden room after showing him the costs for having my own shop - can any of you tell me if it's worked out well for you? I'm mobile, have been for 3 years, but I'm not getting any younger and I'd like to put down roots rather than cart my equipment around all the time.
Did you find that you lost a lot of clients? If you did, was it easy to pick up new clients as you were able to offer a wider range of treatments? For example - I can't do hot stone massage mobile (carrying what is essentially a slow cooker full of rocks around to someones house is never going to be a good idea, ever) but I'd be able to offer that with a garden room.
I love my clients, but I'm tired of loading and unloading the car. I always said I'd do mobile until I'm 45, then settle, but I don't think I'll make it 2 more years
