I have sooooo many clients cancelling at the last minute that I'm seriously considering taking deposits first for all appointments. Just wondering whether anyone else does this? If so how do you go about it?

I have started to do the same as too many clients are cancelling appointments and most of the time I buy in product for each client. I take bank transfer or paypal £10 for colour or 10% of the price, whatever you feel is appropriate. Also advise the client that you require this to secure the booking & explain why you have to take the payment.

Are these new clients cancelling or regulars? With my first time clients I normally go to then for a consultation and skin test then take a £10/£15 Non refundable deposit x
