Try and be the one in control as they can get out of control...also try and get them to lay off the booze until after they have been spray tanned.

Good luck

make sure you have your equipment set up away from the main room so you can tan away from the noise and commotion, I find this leaves them to have a chat etc whilst you are free to get on with your tanning and your client can hear what you are asking her to do!!

....oh and remember to relax and enjoy!! xx

ok thanks guys, do you do the consultations at the same time or individually? I'm only doing 5 people but a bit nervous on time taken and my gun holding out eek!

i give my clients shower caps and and sticky feet as prep and thought it would be a bit of a laugh them putting it on at all the same time?! or is that likely to be a disater? x

Well you kinda have to ***** that when you get there as each party is different but if you give them the hair nets etc first then by the time you come to tan the last person they have usually lost/broken/worn off the sticky sole lol!

When i go in i introduce myself and give everyone a consult card to fill in whilst im setting up then talk to the whole group answering questions and briefly explaining what is going to happen, then i call them in one by one and go through the consult individually.

oh and i always put all my solutions in a line with a cup in front of them and as soon as i have a change i know which is which and never get mixed up (in my early days i used to waste loads of solution not knowing what % it was)

Good luck, let us know how it goes. xx
