I learnt scissor over comb at college but its difficult to explain and does require a lot of practice, when I first started work in a salon I taught my boss how to do it as he didn't know how.
basically ...... I can't explain it i'd have to show you! maybe do a google search and you may come up with a video tutorial??

ofcourse us hairdressers do it every day!!!!! look for a tutorial on youtube as it is difficult to explain without showing, you 45 degree angles etc! hth
