I need some advice regarding the legalities of teaching hairdressing refresher courses privately to people on a one to one basis.
I am a fully qualified hairdressing lecturer, hairdressing 25 years and teaching for 12 years. I was made redundant from the college nearly 2 years ago but I still get contacted by past students who want more tuition on a particular cut or colour.
I was wondering if there are any restrictions or regulations regarding this if I do it in there own home and if I can verify they are qualified to a level 2 NVQ or VRQ minimum? Also is it better for me to provide training heads and other equipment or should I get them to provide live models? If anyone already does this, what do you tend to charge? Thank you in advance x
