Technicians within Television

Hey Geeks, Ok i really dont kn ow nif anyone will be able to help me here. I've done a search online but cant seem to find the exact answer. As many of byou on here i'm a total nail freak. I love everything to do with nails. And im really interested to find out how you get to become a nail technician etc behind the scenes for something like QVC or the BBC. I feel i've achieved a lot considering im still young and this is something i've always fancied doing!! Any advice or opinions would be fantastic. Thank you in advance !!!!!
