:hug:For all of us lucky enough to attend THE EVENT on 25th Oct 2008.....
How has what you learned been brought in to your daily, weekly general work.
Did you learn anything from it?
Has what you learned helped you in your career in any way?
Do you feel you are more enlightened with your skills & your business as a nail technician?
Have you put any of the skills shown to us into practise?
If so, what? And how have your progressed with them?
Have you learned a totally new skill - i.e Brisa? L&P? Minx?
Have you gained more clients from your new skills?
I'm sure there are many other fab things we all brought away with us from this outstanding weekend in the Nail Industry Calendar.....
I, myself....
I have learned a new system - Brisa, I have learned a new problem - not capping with Brisa!
I have had to come to terms with colour mixing!! To create new 'polish' coloured gels for my clients.
I have learned how to finish my enhancements to create a fantastic line of light which is straight as opposed to wobbly here & there with my L&P!
I have used the skills taught to me by the wonderful Amanda Fontanarossa & the truly inspirational Roxanne Valinotti in the design class, together with the fabulous dance by Jan Arnold and Roxy ....which has been inspiring & helped me to create, which I am now proud of, some fabulous almond shaped nails, with a smile line never before THE EVENT, seen in this part of the world.
All my clients are getting comments about their nails left, right & chelsea about how gorgeous they are!
So, for me, what I have taken away & put into practise are...
Perfect Finishing and the DESIGN - both L&P & Gel
Brisa Gel enhancements.
Premium Pricing - who wants to reduce thie prices to fight the NSS - not me, I offer quality, Custom Blends, gorgeous, long lasting enhancements - I don't sell myself cheap - my work is my bread & butter - & I like chilled sparkly wine lol!
Oh yes.......I also got to meet some fab Geeks - you know who you are - oh fabulous ones!!!!!!:hug:
