The hair colour formulation game!

Just a fun idea I saw a while back on another forum...

The idea is you post a photo with natural/coloured level and the next person posts how they would achieve the colour (any brand) and then posts another photo for the next person. Hopefully we can all learn from each other!

I'll start it of, from a natural level 6 to this:

The. Tone with 9.11 with a cm of 2.10 dialight

Cleanse ends to a level of a 7.
Apply 40ml 12% 30ml 7RR 10ml RR mix to regrowth. ( or if feeling naughty RV effects)

Using a back to back technique combined
RR@all
RR@all and KK@all
PK@all
And some 6VV in slices.

OK I would apply a base of diarichesse 6.3 and root stretch a prelightenener for the brighter pieces. I would tone the copper with INOA 8.04+7.44 and the raspberry with dialight 3/4 5.66 + 1/4 4.20. Maybe also deepen the roots with a chromative of diarichesse for shadow.

Tbh in stuck on this one 😂 it would depend how it would lift but the underneath section looks like it was toned with a copper gold and the pieces around the front maybe with a 9.31?

Had one similar recently.

Bleached hair with 3% where needed
As she had coloured hair already it went really copper so used an ash toner to minimise it slightly.



From natural base 4

full head tint of for e.g 40ml 6%, 36ml 5A and 4ml P-mix (Goldwell) with some foils around the face of 6SB and really loosely scattered throughout the rest of the head..

So, on someone who has used a black box dye, then used a blonde, and therefore left with platinum re growth, yellowy 9 midband and 7/8 orange ends, with a natural 2inch re growth of a base 7, how would you achieve this..

Take it the hairs able to take the process

Bleach bath ends to match mid lengths.
Use a 9-30vol foils (aiming for 9.3)
Scatter bleach 10 vol foils under parting.
Flood with 6.3 10vol pre pigging either before hand with spray or adding into tint whichever method you prefer.

Oh and add extensions lol.

Going from the khloe pic I would bleach cleanse the top area then use foils to apply 55/65 over some of the pre lightened areas then flood with 55/66 +/66 special mix xx
