Its famous ladies-only urban spa in Covent Garden attracts over 64,000 guests a year looking for relaxation and the very latest spa treatments and therapies. Now The Sanctuary, which opened 30 years ago, is bringing its expertise to cities across the UK by rolling out a series of high street spas.
Cambridge's Grand Arcade in July 2010 is set to be the launchpad, followed by Hill Rise in Richmond and then Bristol's Cabot Circus in Quaker's Friars.
Each venue will feature three treatment rooms and two Skin Spa rooms, offering medi-spa services such as IPL and Botox. In addition, a luxury Champagne nail bar and two manicure and pedicure stations will be available.
The new high street locations form a new arm to the Sanctuary Groups fast-growing business. It also develops and sells an extensive retail range of beauty products, distributed exclusively by retailer Boots in the UK, as well as achieving notable retail success in new markets including the States, Canada, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
