Toe nail fungus & polish?

Hi everyone , would just like to know anyone’s thoughts on toenail fungus and nail varnish. I’ve a lady that has tie nail fungus but is going away on holidays and would like something done to her nails. Is there anything that I can do or is it a strict no no. If I get a nail polish then throw it out , but obviously charge for it ?? What’s everyone’s thoughts

I wouldn't risk it, she needs to go to her GP and have it treated.

Applying polish over a fungal nail will most likely make it worse. She could end up losing the whole nail. It’s a contra-indication
