Trainee/junior/apprentice

hiya everyone i am looking for some advice.

I'm 20 years old and and a couple of months away from completing vrq level 2 hairdressing. I have the option to go back to college in September to get the full Nvq2 but it will cost over £1500 and I would rather work and learn at the same time.

I am planning on emailing and phoning local salons (leeds or york )to see if they are looking at taking anybody on . what should I be asking for ? and any other advice?

Check the national apprenticeship website, all vacancies and training providers are advertised here.

Good Luck, there is a new incentive for employers to take you on, they can claim £1500 to give someone an apprenticeship opportunity! So make sure you let them know.
