Transition from full head bleach to something more natural

I have a client who has full head bleach at the moment almost white, she has 8 weeks worth of regrowth she is naturally light - a base 9 with no natural white hair.
She’s wanting to convert to something more natural.

I’m looking for suggestions?

So far I’ve thought of
1-changing to highlights
Or
2- using her existing blonde but toning by doing a shadow root then something warmer on the ends
Or
3-balayage by matching her natural and balayaging the dark colour to break up existing blonde.

I'd balayage and hand paint lowlights in the negative space. Then do a shadow root at the backwash.
