Trying to find work

Hi

I'm currently coming to the end of my SVQ Level 2 and am struggling to find any work which I think is partly due to my age (21).

I intend on going back next year to do level 3 but would love to be working in a salon to gain more experience.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Just keep on applying for jobs. It to me till the end of my level 3 to get a job. Sadly most places want you to have both. But all I'd say is keep your chin up and keep apply and going to interviews.

I got my first job in May (I was 25 then) last year. I've just left and have a salon job and starting at a local spa very soon.

Being older is sometimes a good or a bad thing just let all of the age thing go over your head.

It'll work out in the end but it is hard [emoji4] xx
