Hey, if a client wants two coats of a 12% solution, do you have to wait for the first coat to dry? Also wouldnt they go orange and too wet?? Thanks

Why do they want two coats? Do they want to be darker - is one coat not even???? If they want to be darker I would increase the percentage - that is if their skin can take it that is..............

I know St Tropez use two coats,I have been taught that two coats only gives a darker coverage prior to rinsing off, unless you spray one day then spray 2nd coat the following day.

2 coats doesn't mean they will be darker once the guide is rinsed off.Just a waste of product.HTH

Hi thanks for your replies geeks. She is a dancer and told me that where she went before they gave her two coats? But i didnt get taught to use two coats. I used a 12% on her and told her if she doesnt think its dark enough i can put some booster drops in to make it darker, but i have never used booster drops so im unsure how many to put in? Thanks :)

I use tantrick booster drops and they are 1 drop per 100ml takes it up by 1%, there is a thread currently running about booster drops. I would check with your supplier though that the ratio is the same before adding them

Exactly right, spray 1 coat one day, the next 24 hrs later. This will give her a deeper more longer lasting tan. However, I would charge her for the extra coat!

Thanks for your replies everyone, its helped alot. :)
