Hi ladies, have any of you tried this product? Did you like it and what is the process? Thank you so very much for all your help! Thanks.

It's superb! But you must use a UV Lamp to dry it.

A GREAT alternative is their Air Dry- no tools necessary, helps prevent chipping, and the shine is UNBEATABLE. :)

This product is fab, we use it all the time in the salon I work, clients still have the same polish on when they come back for their 2 or even 3 week rebalance. It´s a very thick sticky gel which you put on as a top coat, we leave it under the uv lamp for 4 minutes per hand and a further 2 minutes for the thumbs. Hope this helps, we certainly wouldn´t be without it, we also charge extra for it. Di x

I only recently started using it, its fantastic, all my clients comment on how quickly it dries and how shiny it is, they love it. You need a UV lamp, it needs 3mins under the lamp.

Di, i don't find it thick at all, its actually quite thin. Are you thinking of the U.V finishing gloss??

Can this be applied over acrylics or gels also or only natural nails? Thanks so much!

If you put it over nail polish can you still get the nail polish off without buffing?? ie does it come off with nail varnish remover??

could this uv dry be used over opi polishes?

Yeah its great, you can use it over gel or acrylic, i havent tried it over nail varnish but i would think because its like gel you would have to buff it off before removing varnish. (Not sure though!!)

I would imagine so... here's the description off the Creative USA website:

UV DRY

WHAT IT IS:
A professional, fast drying UV activated top coat.
WHAT IT DOES:
Rapidly dries all layers of nail enamel when used with the Digital UV or Dry UV lamps. Creates a hard, protective coating that extends the life of enamel. Provides a deep, rich, high gloss shine.
WHY YOU NEED IT:
Delivers a professional quality, value-added service. Extends the life of a manicure.

I have got to have it now, I always talk my clients in to have perm colour or french done so they do not need to wait for it dry. But this tool sounds fantastic.

I SOLD 45 BOTTLES OF SOLAR OIL SINCE 1 NOV.

jUST SHOWS EVERYONE LOVE IT.

:cry:Well friends, I've tried it already and it still chips! I was told it was made to use over nail polish then cure it, but it's still chipping!!

For what it is worth, we aren't stocking it in the UK until we can get the proper UV lights to cure it (they havent made them for our voltage yet!). It is imperative that you use the correct lamps for proper cure, otherwise the performance will not exceed your expectations.

Also remember that it is still enamel, it is hard wearing (I used to use it in the salon when I lived in the US) but it isn't chip-proof (no such thing!).

HTHs!
