The Guild's Annual Industry survey is here and we are asking you to take part!

As the Guild always likes to be at the forefront of what is happening in the beauty, holistic and nails industry, we run an annual survey that asks questions of the people who know the industry best – you! The survey is available for you to complete online in this issue of Guild Gazette, and is sponsored by Dermalogica, Sweet Squared, Goddess International, Fake Bake, La Beeby and Pristine Electrolysis Needles. Each of these sponsors will be putting up a prize which you can win simply by completing the survey, which can be found on the centre pages of the magazine.

Since our very first industry survey in 1995, the Guild has been tracking the changes which take place every year in the professional beauty industry. We report on vital statistics such as salon numbers, treatment prices and wage rates, as well as providing beauty companies with information about their relative share of different sectors of the market.

Once you have completed the survey, you will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes provided by our sponsors.

  • Sweet Squared are giving away a Shellac Salon Rack, plus the new CND lamp, all worth £250.
  • Dermalogica are giving away 25 fantastic Body Therapy Kits worth £21.20 each.
  • Fake Bake are giving away a PEB-L HVLP and a POP-UP Cubicle.
  • Goddess International are giving away a VIP microcurrent training and skincare package.
  • La Beeby are giving away £500 of Guild branded uniforms.
  • Pristine Electrolysis Needles are giving away 50 packs of electrolysis needles.

The 2010 survey can be found here: Survey 2010. The survey form only takes a few minutes to complete and will help to provide therapists like yourself with some invaluable information. The more people who complete the survey the more accurate our results will be.
