hi all i did my ladies micro ring extensions on sunday and today she has washed her hair and on the one side her hair has tangelled at the root.it cant be the hair as it is just the one side anyone nop what i can do?please i am desperate for help

There are probably a couple of hairs that are not root point correct. You need to go back to your hair supplier with this. That side will need to come out and be redone.

this has never happened before and i am a bit worried!
she is a loverly lady and i am worried about her hair

it only takes a couple of hairs pointing the wrong way to cause this, as I said it is a supplier issue.

thanks
who would you say was the best supplier for micro ring extensions

Hi there are some good hair suppliers , but.... a lot of us on here pre bond our own hair from specialist hair merchants but its not cheap though ,

I also think your clients hair sounds muddled and some of it is turned the wrong way around, and not root to point correct

perhaps if you ask lancashirelass she may reccomend some good pre bonded hair suppliers to you as she does the micro ring methods
hth :) minky

OK don't panic. I can help you solve this.It is important you fully understand this before you perform what im about to show you.
I recommend you practice it a little before you try to attempt to fix it.
This is typical case of incorrect installation and possible aggravation due to the side she sleeps on.
There is a simple fix to this. You need to understand the fundamental correct installation steps (i mean this respectfully).

1. Make sure that all extensions are installed loosely and are about 2cm away from the scalp and not too tight.
2. Make sure your sections are very neat.
3. make sure your sections are in perfect rows and not brick style sectioning
4. Ensure your rows are not too packed or close to one another and leave hair in between the rows.
3. Also take note that the actual extension is installed as flat as possible to the scalp rather than graduated.
Now this might be all a bit much so please go the the tutorial section of this website and see a video i posted the that shows you how to install 1-2 hair extensions correctly.
So in essence you might have slightly over packed the extensions on one side and the extensions are not spread apart.
we see this error all the time.
Take the hair out and install it again. YOU REALLY NEED to see a full head being done so i will offer you a free course if you wish and think it might help.
The rings i use may be different but the methods to what im talking about apply to all rings so this course would help you and im offering it free to help you. Hope this helps. Cheers

Here is some thing you should think of doing
email your customer a how to take care of your video and doc.
THIS IS WHAT WE DO FOR OUR CLIENT

CARE & MAINTENANCE FOR PROFESSIONAL HAIR EXTENSIONS
Video here
SHAMPOO & CONDITONING:
1.
Brush or comb :green: hair extensions whilst dry before shampooing.
2. Wash your hair at least twice a week using a shampoo that is heavily moisturising and creamy in consistency leaving the hair feeling conditioned rather than squeaky clean. If unsure, as your hairdresser.
3. We strongly recommend that before you start shampooing is to apply conditioner to mid lengths to the ends prior to washing. Once the conditioner is in the hair you can proceed to wash the hair with the conditioner in the mid lengths to ends. This helps to prevents shampoos stripping or over washing your extensions. Shampoo your hair twice using a massaging technique rather than an aggressive scrubbing technique. Start by massaging the shampoo into your roots then proceed to squeeze the lather through to the ends. Shampooing twice is important because the first shampoo will help to nudge and break down any oil and dirt. The second shampoo will lather and help bring those oils and dirt to the surface to be rinsed off. Proceed to rinse the shampoo thoroughly from your hair.
4. After rinsing your hair, thoroughly towel dry to remove excess water.
5. It is recommended to use a heavily moisturising conditioner that is creamy in consistency rather than a light one that can leave your hair feeling un-moisturised. If unsure, ask your hairdresser.
6. Remember to always apply a generous amount of conditioner to your hair.
7. Using a wide tooth comb, start to comb through the conditioner beginning at the ends and working your way up to the scalp.
8. Whilst rinsing out the conditioner, we recommend that a slight residue of the conditioner is left in your hair for further moisturising.
9. After rinsing your hair, thoroughly towel dry to remove excess water.
10. Using a wide tooth comb, proceed to comb your hair starting at the ends and working your way to the roots.

STYLING:
1. Letting your hair dry naturally is especially recommended with the :green: wavy range.
2. When blow drying lusciouslox hair extensions, it is recommended to comb each section of
hair before blow drying. At this point, we have found that products such as Bonacure Hairtherapy Repair Rescue Sealed
Ends by Schwarzkopf make a dramatic difference in the daily maintenance of hair extensions. We also suggest to
check your hair extension every few days for matting or knots,do this before going to bed. If you feel a few extensions that are stuck to gether just simply separate them.
3. It is important not to start blow drying your hair while completely wet.
DAILY MAINTENANCE WITH :green: HAIR EXTENSIONS:
1. Comb your hair with :green: looped hair extension brush at least twice daily.we also suggest to check your hair ext
2. Avoid using any electric styling tools such as straightening irons and curling tongs.
3. When applicable only use light hold styling products that contain a low hold factor.

MAINTENANCE WHILST SLEEPING

1.
Before going to bed, tie up your hair loosely preferably using a cloth tie e.g. a scrunchy
2. After waking up, remove the hair tie and brush your hair using the :green: looped
hair extension brush starting from the ends and working your way up towards the scalp.

SWIMMING/SAUNA/SPA:

It is not recommended to swim with hair extensions.
However if at any stage you feel like taking a swim, avoid immersing your head under water or simply wear a swimming cap.
