UV bulb changing?

Right I'm now on my second UV lamp as my original lamp has been temperamental since I changed the bulbs on it.
So can I just ask how you remove the bulbs from the unit as each lamp doesn't tell you in the instructions how to do this.
Do I just pull the bulb out??
Do I have to release it in some way before I pull the bulb out???

I have CND lamp. All I do is take the lid off, pull the old bulbs out and stick the new ones in. And reset the timer for new bulbs.

Do CND bulbs have any resistance when you pull them or do they just slide out. I don't use CND??
