Does anyone know where I would look for getting a lamp repaired?
Mines died and has no power at all but is no longer in warranty so I'm after getting it repaired.
I have 2 so thank goodness I still have the use of one but I dont want to right this one off as its only done about 75hours of work, it seems such a waste.
I dont know where to look for repairs as I'd imagine it could be a specialist repair maybe? I dont want to send it to a regular electrical repairs and get it back in a worse state.
Any ideas?

Is it your shellac lamp? mine konked out last week but hubby unscrewed the lid and he said that he could see that a piece inside had slipped out of place, ( think I may of banged it too many times) all back in working order now..................

It is indeed. Thanks for that, I'll take a look- it was working just fine before so it could be (fingers crossed!).
I was holding off letting hubby look until I'd spoke to insurance, the excess is more then a new lamp though so now I'll let him loose. Thanks for that!
