Hi geeks

I love anything from the 40s and wondered how many ideas people have for nails.

I love the obvious reverse French manicure but any other ideas or pointers where to look would be great.

Thanks in advance

Other than the half moon manicure it the only other nail trend was to match polish to your clothes.

Thank you camillebates. I'd looked around and couldn't find anything but didn't know if anyone else had any ideas x

It's a little more 30s than 40s but a half moon manicure with the free edge bare too is lovely.
Other than that what about a little more modern half moon using a different colour underneath or shaped french manicure?

I've had a little look on google and there's a set on there that are like French but instead of the smile lines being curved they're pointed into like a triangle, they look pretty classy. Just search 1940s nails on google xx
