Hi

I had a waxing party last night. Packed up my pot in the box along with all my supplies

I went to work this morning and unloaded the car and the box was stuck to the mat of my car. I then got it into my beauty room and it was like there had been an explosion

I've had my wax pot at folks houses before and put it away straight after and this has never happened

The pot was just over half full but i did put a couple of the towels i hadn't used in the box on top of the pot

Why do you think this happened?

Oh dear that doesn't sound good at all.
Would be difficult to tell what exactly has happened other than its simply tipped with some dodgy swerving or breaking trying to avoid the local grouse on them there country lanes up in the Shetlands.

What I would be interested to know is that when you finally managed to rip the pot and molten wax away from the car rug is
1)Did it get all the hairs out...even the short ones
2) Did the rug break out in a rash after the removal of the hair

Sorry couldn't resist :eek::lol::lol::hug:

hi collin

my box was wedged in the front of the car at the feet of the passenger side. only have one road, no big turns to get from my front door to work so even my driving wouldn't have moved the box

hehe, got my pot out the car..... had to cut round the box :( lol. rug is now hanging over the fence!!!! boyfriend not happy!!!!!!!!!

i'm wondering if the towels being on the top of the pot has causes some sort of condensation type thing or something to raise the wax

smethng like this happened to me ages ago. hot water and wax cleaner done me the trick

happened to me aswell... wax cleaner/ oil works a treat, also i reckon it could have been the humid heat from the weather or the cars engine to have caused the sticky surface!

Happened to me a couple of summers ago when I was doing a party. To get it off I heated it up slightly to make the wax more flexible then used a spatula to get most of it off, then as others have said hot water and wax equipment cleaner and I also used baby oil all of which helped in their own way throughout the process.

Hope this helps

Emily

do you know why it happened without it being tipped?

think im going to get a new one. my wax bot took a tumble when i last moved and the full pot of wax leaked over it. took ages to get it back to normal
