Hi can anyone tell me what's the best for cutting out warmth? I was thinking either 1/2 12/61 + 1/4 12/89 + 40vol OR 1/2 12/89 + 1/4 12/61 + 40vol but I'm not not sure which would be best? I'm still learning about wella, I'm in a Schwarzkopf salon xx

Meant to write, on a warm 7/8 base x

Hi Laura ,
I would use half 12/89 and 1/2 12/16 with a smidge of 0/81 mixtone with 12% but if its on a level of an 8 you can use 9% but make sure you leave on full development time and no less , Hth xx

I would always use 9% 30 vol with a high lift tint as you get more tone deposit which produces a cleaner blonde x

Thanks, would it be ok without the 0/81 mix tone? With 9% ?x

So I used 1/2 each of 12/89 + 12/61 with 9% and left on for 70mins ( just to be sure) and roots came up abit warm/gold! Would I be better using 1/2 12/61 + 1/4 12/89 next time??x

Also leave on for a full 50 mins to get the best result

He said that he had left it on for 70 mins

In fact with wella although the instructions say 50 mins, the reps normally tell you to leave it at least an hour x

Thanks everyone but I left on for 70mins just to make sure everything had 'deposited' well x
