Wella KP new formulation: question about double bases

Is Wella still advising, as they did before, to only use double bases with another double base or Special Mix? Have these guidelines changed in any way with the latest formulation?

Not to my knowledge, but depending on what you're trying to create they can be mixed with regular shades, you just don't get the full benefits of the extra coverage.
