Hi everyone, I am having a problem and just wondered what I can do about it. After doing several fills, I notice that the tips of my nails do not have that nice "c" curve they started out with. I know that the tip has grown out and now I am down to just acrylic, but I am thinking that I must be doing something wrong because the ends just don't look nice and sharp anymore. thank you
Suzanne

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, just time for a rebalance!

Thin the whole nail including the free edge and rebuild a new apex. Keep the sidewalls thinner and this should give you back your missing curve.

couldnt agree more....i noticed this on my nails...and learned that when filing always look down the nail afterwards and you will see the c-curve should be nice and rounded...but i was seeing flatter nails and it was because i wasnt filing the side walls thin enough. ....xxxx
