What's your Goldfish called?

While studying at college - I always thought filling in the consultation form - why would I want to know how many pets this client has? A few year's working in the business,and due to being busy - now I know why this info is so important -

A few client's have come back to me for the second/third time - and remember everything about me i.e.Kids etc - but I sometimes struggle to remember their details - hence from now on finding out "what the name of the goldfish is" actually making sense!!

Although remembering some things is good customer service, I'd say that that kind of information isn't much use, a "how are the pets?" Or "are the kids doing ok?" Is enough. Xoxo
