When your newly qualified experiance then becomes the key.

so to gain the experience i know the best thing is prob to offer a reduce price? or for free maybe? and then how did your clients accept the increase in price when you decided to stop offering a reduce rate and how did you explain this to them or do you tell them from the start that the price would increase to xxxx in x amount of time.

When I first started I didn't offer anything for free (unless they're family) as I still had to cover cost of products used etc. I made it clear to my clients that they were introductory offers only and there would be an increase in a couple of months or however long it took for me to feel competant. HTH :)
 
I did the same. I started at £10 and told everyone I was starting a business soon and prices would go up. I started my business on the 7th April and now charge £20 on an introductory offer, I've made it clear to all my clients that the offer is for a limited time only.
 
most of my clients have been with me since i was still training, they used to pay a reduced rate, but when i qualified they started paying the full price, at their insistence!! i would have been happy to have an introductory rate for a set period of time!!
