White hairs

Hi all popped over from beauty to ask what might be a simple question!
I have dark brown hair but have recently discovered patches of white hairs!

What would be the best colour to help cover these im after a change anyway! U love the reds but not thinking they will cover the whites? The brown tint i get at the moment isnt covering them. But i also would love to go lighter to a more caramel. Would the lighter coulour help disguise the white more.

Only looking for suggestions!
