Hi,
new here so be gentle :)
recently passed a nail tech course @ college & just starting out with my mobile work :Scared:
We were taught using clear/natural tips for acrylic but ive recently bought white tips. I know that you dont need to blend a white tip as it helps with the smile line but do i need to put the white acrylic on top? Will the pink in zone 2 & 3 hold the tip on along with the glue & last?
Any help would be much appreciated , thanks :D

You need to overlay the whole nail and tip with either clear or a sheer pink. Or you can use clear over the white tip and pink for zones 2 and 3.

Thanks for your quick reply :wink2:
Folks, would this be a definitive answer or is there any other opinions?
Thanks again :D

There are several options with white tips.

I prefer to use natural ( a cloudy clear) over the tip and pink on the rest of the nail.
Makes them look a bit more classy in my opinion.

You will of course need to keep up your skills with white acrylic as you will have to use it to rebalance the nail when the white tip grows out.
