Will high lift tint work ?

I'm havin a mental block today please help..
In may we did a bleach bath on a client then toned with level 7
Now she's not dyed it since then and wants highlights she's also pregnant
I want to use 12 range to lift up the colour do u think it will work or should I use bleach
It's now faded to level 8 9

To be on the safe side and asure it lifted I'd use a bleach.. Maybe with 3% if it's dry or it wont need too much lifting? Tint doesn't lift tint.. I think a high lift will only give a shade difference around the root/mid lengths. And even from a base 8 to a 12 your wanting about 3 shades lighter? If in doubt.. Take a strand test!
