Will this colour mix work?

Hi I’m thinking of mixing Majirel Cool Cover 5.18 with either 8 or 9.13. Aim is to get a light brown with blonde tones the current hair is around a level 7.5 on roots (previous colour) and 8.5 on the rest ( faded bleach).
Any ideas if this will come out ok?

Mix in what way? Like base colour 5.18 and then H/L of 8 or 9.3. or do you mean intermix the shades together to create one colour to apply?
